- Fire Polish – eliminate particulate shedding from the sawed end, and smooths the edges.
- Hermetic Seal Glass Size Capability
- Generally outside diameters (OD) up to 0.250″ are available. Inside diameters (ID) from microscopic up to 80% of the Od are standard, thinner walls require special processing.
- Sawed/Ground/Polished/fire polished lengths up to 5″ are standard. Longer lengths possible with scribe and break ends.
- Tolerance Capability
- Inside and Outside diameter bilateral tolerances of ± 2% is standard, 1% special (within measuring capability).
- Centerless Ground OD ± 0.0002 is available.
- Length bilateral tolerances of ± 0.003″ to 0.001″ is availble depending on size.
